easy-
care!

Air plants are very easy to care for and, like all plants, need water and light. What makes Tillandsias special is that they require neither soil nor coconut fibre tablets. They absorb all the nutrients they need through the scales on their leaves and therefore thrive in high humidity. We offer air plants in small gift boxes for a variety of occasions. Each set contains a small living plant and a high-quality laser-engraved wooden cube on which the plant is displayed. The Tillandsia ionantha variety we use rarely grows beyond 10 cm, allowing it to remain on the cube for a long time.

With this wooden product and its genuine living plant, no two laser engravings or air plants are exactly alike. This makes every cube a unique gift box. Our air plants are a contemporary way to send greetings that grow.

This is how you take care of your airplant

Open the packaging upon receipt and remove all contents. Carefully place the air plant in the prepared opening in the wooden cube and position it in a bright location with sunlight or indoor lighting. Mist the air plant with a little water immediately after delivery. After that, mist it sparingly with lukewarm water two to three times a week.

Dead or dried plant parts can be gently pulled outwards and trimmed with clean scissors. With proper care, regular misting and plenty of light, purple flowers may even appear after some time.
