Care instructions

ecobox contains coconut fibre tablet, wooden plant stick for writing on, compostable planting cup and sa plant seed bag.

  • Slide the lid off the wooden box and take out the contents. Paint the wooden box with the included coloured pencils however you like.
  • Place the brown seed pots next to each other in the box and distribute the coconut fibre tablets evenly among the placed cups.
  • Slowly pour water into each cup to about 2 cm below the rim of the cup. About 5 minutes later, the tablets have turned into coconut fibre soil as if by magic.
  • Open the seed bags, plant a different variety in each growing pot and cover the seeds with some coconut fibre soil so that they are completely covered. Label plant markers and carefully attach them to the respective plant variety so that you can then distinguish between the plants.
  • Place the wooden box in a bright, warm place (e.g., on the window sill) and only water moderately (about 40 ml about every 3 days – but avoid waterlogging!). Now it's time to be patient!
  • After about 6-14 days, the first green plants begin to germinate. Continue to water the ecogarden moderately.
  • As soon as the garden cress has grown to around 10 cm high, the first leaves can be harvested continuously until the first flowers appear. The first radishes can be harvested after around 4-8 weeks and the cherry tomatoes after around 4-5 months.
  • As soon as your vegetables become too big for the ecobox, simply transfer the plants using their compostable growing pots into flower pots with a little soil, or outdoors.
  • You can then use the wooden box itself as a practical pen or toy storage box, for example!
