Care Instructions

The ecobag contains a special growing media and a bag with organic seeds.

  • Use scissors to cut the bag open about 1cm below the seal.
  • Now open the seed bag and push the seeds about 1 cm into the soil and cover the seeds slightly with soil.
  • Place the bag on a small plate and water the ecobag carefully by pouring about 150ml of lukewarm water into the bag.
  • Keep the ecobag in a bright, warm place and water moderately until plants are germinating (approx. 50ml every 3 days). Make sure that the granulate doesn't dry up – avoid waterlogging!
  • After about 6 to 10 days the beans will start to germinate. Continue to water moderately.
  • After about 5 months you can harvest the first beans.
  • The ecobag is 100% compostable and can be planted entirely into a regular pot after about 4 months.
