Care instructions

The ecobag contains a contains coconut fiber granulate, clay granulate and a bag with organic seeds.

  • Use scissors to cut the bag open about 1 cm below the seal.
  • Now open the seed bag, sprinkle the seeds on the soil, and cover slightly with soil.
  • Place the bag on a small plate and water the ecobag carefully by pouring about 150 ml of lukewarm water into the bag.
  • Keep the ecobag in a bright, warm place and water moderately until plants are germinating (approx. 50 ml about every 3 days). Make sure that the granulate doesn't dry up – avoid waterlogging!
  • After about 12 to 18 days the chilis will start to germinate. Continue to water moderately.
  • After about 5 months, you can harvest the first chilis continuously.
  • As soon as the plant gets too big (after about 6-8 months), the ecobag can be planted entirely into a flower pot with some soil, or outdoors. The ecobag will slowly decompose and turn into a valuable fertilizer.
