Pure vacation feeling

Item No. 295520

Bot. name: aloe vera (Aloe Vera), orchid tree (Bauhinia variegata candida) & palm (Washingtonia robusta)
Characteristics: The sprouting time of the exotic garden is difficult to gauge, however. Sometimes it takes up to 40 days before you get to see the first green stalks. The effort will be worth it, because the decorative box will turn into a little tropical indoor oasis.
Cultivation & care:

Care Instructions

The grow kit contains coconut fiber tabs, biodegradable cups, plant markers and seed packages.

  • Remove the lid from the wooden box and take out the coconut fiber tabs, the plant markers, the biodegradable
cups and the small plant seed packages. Open the orchid tree seed packet and put its seeds in a glass with luke warm water for 24 hours.
  • After 24 hours place the biodegradable cups next to each other in the wooden box. Next put one coconut tab into each cup. Fill each cup with water to about 1 cm below the rim. After about 5 minutes the tabs will have turned into soil. Use your finger to smooth the soil.
  • Sprinkle the seeds from one seed package onto the substrate in one cup and cover with soil. Do the same with the rest of the seed packets.
  • Place the grow kit a bright, warm place and water moderately until plants are germinating (approx. 20 ml every 3 days). Make sure that the granulate doesn‘t dry up – avoid waterlogging!
  • It takes a lot of patience until germination starts. Continue to water moderately.
  • The aloe vera will begin to grow after about 14-20 days. The orchid tree will grow small green seedlings after about 2-4 weeks. The palm tree will begin to grow after about 18-25 days. Sometimes it takes up to 40 days before you get to see the first green stalks.

Small tip: use provided plant markers to label what’s in each cup!
