Care instructions

ecobox contains coconut fibre tablet, wooden plant stick for writing on, compostable planting cup and sa plant seed bag.

  • Slide the lid off the wooden box and take out the contents. Paint the wooden box with the included coloured pencils however you like.
  • Place the brown seed pots next to each other in the box and distribute the coconut fibre tablets evenly among the placed cups.
  • Slowly pour water into each cup to about 2 cm below the rim of the cup. About 5 minutes later, the tablets have turned into coconut fibre soil as if by magic.
  • Open the seed bags, plant a different variety in each seed pot and cover the seeds with some coconut fibre soil so that they are completely covered. Label the plant markers and carefully stick them to the respective plant type in order to be able to distinguish between the plants.
  • Put the wooden box in a bright, warm place (e.g., on the window sill) and only water moderately (about 40 ml about every 3 days – but avoid waterlogging!). Now it's time to be patient!
  • After about 7-16 days, the first green plants begin to sprout. Continue to water the ecogarden moderately.
  • After about 8 weeks, the first leaves of mint and lemon balm can be harvested continuously. The lavender blooms after about 12 weeks and shortly afterwards the first leaves and flowers can be harvested.
  • As soon as your flowers get too big for the ecobox, simply transfer them into flower pots with a little soil or outdoors using their compostable nursery pots.
  • You can then use the wooden box itself as a pen holder, gift or toy storage box, for example!
