Characteristics: Calendula is a popular annual that is grown in beds and borders for its daisy or chrysanthemum-like bright yellow to deep orange flowers. The young leaves of the plant are eaten in salads and have a flavor that remind slightly of dandelion leaves.

Care Instructions

 

ecocube contains certified organic seeds and special growing media.

  • Remove the paper sleeve from the cube and pull back sticker.
  • Carefully pour about 30 ml of water on the planted seeds.
  • Keep the cube in a bright, warm place and water regularly to keep the granulate moist.
  • The calendula will begin to grow after about 10-15 days and will bloom after another 10-12 weeks.
  • After about 10 months of growth, repot your calendula by simply placing the entire cube into a pot with soil.
  • The cube will slowly decompose and turn into a valuable fertilizer for the plant.
