Characteristics: This dwarf banana variety originally comes from Thailand, but it can be easily grown as a tub plant. During sprouting, care must be taken to keep the temperature above 20°C. It can take between 4 to 8 weeks until the first green sprouts peak out.

growtainer contains coconut fiber granulate, clay granulate and seed packet.

  • Open the growtainer carefully. Open the seed packet and put the seeds in a glass with lukewarm water. After 24 hours remove seeds from water and plant the seeds about 1 cm below the surface of the granules in the growtainer.
  • Slowly pour approx. 60 ml of water into the growtainer and place in a bright, warm place. Water the can moderately (approx. 40 ml about every 3 days). The granules should not dry out – avoid waterlogging! Cover the planted seeds with a glass.
  • Remove glass daily for 1 hour to give plant air and continue to water the plant moderately. During sprouting, care must be taken to keep the temperature above 20°C. Remove glass daily for 1 hour to give plant air. The banana plant will begin to germinate after about 2-4 weeks. Sometimes it can take between 4 to 8 weeks until the first green sprouts peak out.
  • As soon as the plant gets too big for the can, carefully remove it and transplant it into a flower pot with some soil.
  • PLEASE REUSE ME! After transplanting, the box can be cleaned and reused as a pen holder, for example!
